Project 01
When the clients purchased their forever home, they could recognize the love and care the previous long time owners had given the property. The renovation of a 1910 Edwardian home required finesse in bridging the classic details with an updated palette. There was meticulous oversight on ensuring the unique qualities of a +100 year old home remained, while supporting a young family living in the 21 century.
Project 02
This futuristic client had a strong vision for a 90,000 square feet floor plate in Mid-Market, San Francisco. The ask was to envision what Paris would be like in the film Blade Runner. It was a study of materials and lighting to help bring this mostly windowless office to the inspiring place thousands of employees called “home” for the day.
Project 03
Building out five full floors simultaneously is no easy task. Creating a strong vision and story to cohesively tie these floors together was the challenge. Through the use of materials, lighting, and signage, the client was able to have a truly tailored experience for their employees.
ABOUT ME
Jocelyn studied interior design and architecture from the University of Berkeley, Extension while working full time at a commercial architecture firm. The start of her career was focused on corporate design, but her interest eventually shifted to residential design. The commercial background has provided Jocelyn with a tactile approach of function first, aesthetic follow. There isn’t a piece of fabric or rug she won’t run her hands over.
Jocelyn lives in San Francisco with her husband, two kids, and golden retriever. When she’s not working you can find her roaming the Presidio trails, on a tennis court, or rolling out some fresh pasta. Cooking is one of her favorite pastimes and she mostly enjoys sharing the fruits of her labor.
